About Jenny Anastos
I worked in human resources for many years and decided to make a career change after I began working at a horse barn. I am a lifelong equestrian and horse lover.
In 2010, I went back to school to study veterinary technology. I received my degree and spent several years at Tufts University’s hospital for large animals working with some of the country’s best surgeons and veterinarians in Tufts’ sports medicine program as well as working with other large animals.

Benefits
All horses…the young, the old, the non- competitive, the competitive, can benefit from massage and bodywork techniques.
Massage is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for these therapeutic purposes: providing caring touch, providing relaxation and rejuvenation, improving local and systemic circulation and reducing pain. Massage therapy helps us to trigger the horse’s body into getting itself back into peak health.
One of the biggest benefits is prevention. We can work together if there is a certain issue and go to a preventative maintenance program to find and work on the smaller problems before they become bigger issues. Massage also helps build trust and increases our emotional bond with the horse.
