Jenny Anastos
My name is Jenny Anastos. I grew up in the Midwest and settled in Medfield, MA, where I’m raising my son. I’m a graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
I worked in human resources for many years and decided to make a career change after I began working at a horse barn. I am a lifelong equestrian and horse lover.
In 2010, I went back to school to study veterinary technology. I received my degree and spent several years at Tufts University’s hospital for large animals, working with some of the country’s best surgeons and veterinarians in Tufts’ sports medicine program as well as working with other large animals.
My life journey continued and led me to want to become certified in equine massage therapy. I think having my vet tech degree, work experience and equine massage certification sets me apart from others in massage therapy. I completed comprehensive training in equine anatomy, non-invasive basic and advanced animal massage and bodywork techniques and ethics. Bancroft School of Massage therapy is one of the most respected massage schools in the country.
Massage creates a physical healing but also a mental healing for the horse. My intention is to create positive results and bring a sense of calm and peace. I always want to connect first with the horse and then trust my intuition. I am very passionate about equine massage and bodywork and love using my hands and heart to make a difference with each horse I work on.
